Our great time at Cape Kidnappers

What an awesome trip we had to Cape Kidnappers! We saw many amazing things like fault lines. The big red/ orange tractors towed us behind them on a trailor. A couple of times we got stuck in the sand! Oh no! We saw a Seal sunbathing on the rock after he had anice refreshing swim. We had such an amazing time. Collin (Our tactor driver) found us some volcanic ash to feel. It came all the way from Taupo in the last volcanic eruption. We had to walk up a really big, steep hill for 25 minutes to reach the Gannet Colony. We saw lots of Gannets and some of us collected broken eggs and feathers. Thank you to the amazing parents who came on our trip to help us. More photos to come!

It was an amazing trip. I was so proud of everyone in Team 2 who came prepared for the day and made great choices. I loved the bumpy parts when we were on the trailers. At one stage I thought, "Oh no! Am I going to fall off?" Luckily I held on very tightly. Super photos Room 7 :)
